  17. <p>     What do acclaimed author Amy Tan and earthy chanteuse Joni
  18. Mitchell have in common? A desire to expand their audiences
  19. beyond the thirty- and fortysome thing set--to the
  20. eightsomething set. Tan, 40, recycled a chapter from her
  21. best-selling book, The Joy Luck Club, transforming it into a
  22. mystical children's story called The Moon Lady; it is due out
  23. later this month. Also bound for store shelves this fall: a big
  24. picture-book version of Mitchell's fabled '60s song, Both Sides
  25. Now. Good news for kids enraptured by Mom and Dad's Woodstock
  26. war stories.
